Plant Based Meals is committed to using the highest quality ingredients to deliver you healthy and delicious meals. As plant-based and whole food companies are beginning to emerge, we believe it is important to set the standard for what we call whole foods. A whole food, plant-based diet (WFPB) is one that centers on whole, unrefined, and unprocessed foods. It's made up of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, legumes, nuts, and seeds.
We cook almost one hundred percent of every meal from scratch, including all of our sauces. This gives us complete control over the quality and ingredients of each meal. The limited ingredients we do not produce include tortillas/wraps, pasta noodles, tofu, and some mock meats. However, when possible, we do create our homemade mock meats like our tu-no meat, crab-less cakes, and seitan. When we are shopping we source quality ingredients that align with our Standards of Health, this includes buying local and organic whenever possible. At PBM, we buy fresh produce, herbs, and spices- our food is never frozen!
Along with using only 100% vegan ingredients and never adding oil or sugar to any meal, we never cook with the following ingredients: hydrogenated fats, high-fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners like aspartame, sucralose, and saccharin, along with hundreds of other colors, preservatives, flavors and other ingredients.
