REHEATING TIPS

OUR RECOMMENDATIONS OF HOW TO REHEAT YOUR MEALS BY CATEGORY


SAUCES, DIPS, DRESSINGS

Leave out at room temperature 20 minutes before eating to soften. You can also stir in a teaspoon of water or other liquid to soften.

PASTAS

STOVE TOP:

1. Remove food from containers and place in a skillet.

2. Cook covered on medium/low heat.

3. Add a couple of tablespoons of water and stir. This will bring out the creaminess of our sauce and prevent pasta from sticking to the pan.

4. Heat until desired temperature.

MICROWAVE:

1. Remove any lids and sauce containers before placing the meal in the microwave.

2. Reheat on high for 2-3 minutes, then in 30-second increments until the desired temperature is reached.

BAKES, LOAFS, CASSEROLES

OVEN:

1. Preheat the oven to 350-400°F.

2. Remove food from the container and wrap loosely in foil.

3. Bake for 15-30 minutes. Since oven temperatures can vary, check halfway through to see if it's heated to your liking.

MICROWAVE:

1. Remove any lids and sauce containers before placing the meal in the microwave.

2. Reheat on high for 2-3 minutes, then in 30-second increments until the desired temperature is reached..

GRAIN/ POWER/ BUDDHA BOWLS

These can be enjoyed cold, at room temperature, baked, or microwaved:

ROOM TEMPERATURE:

1. Take the bowl out of the refrigerator.

2. Leave it covered on the counter for 20-30 minutes before eating.

STOVE TOP:

1. Remove the food from the container.

2. Heat in a pan on medium heat.

3. Stir regularly to prevent sticking. Add a tablespoon of water if needed.

MICROWAVE:

1. Remove any lids and sauce containers.

2. Place the bowl in the microwave.

3. Heat on high for 2-3 minutes, then in 30-second increments until the desired temperature is reached.

WRAPS, TACOS

These can be enjoyed cold, at room temperature, baked, or microwaved.
