Angela’s Motivation

When Angela was 11, she learned that meat came from animals and stopped eating it immediately. She retained her vegetarian diet until she started learning about the effects of animal agriculture and factory farms. From there, she adopted a vegan diet.

This inspired her to invest in clinical research about eating a plant-based diet. She found out that this is the best way to thrive and enjoy optimal health. With this in mind, she changed her lifestyle and turned vegan.

According to her, becoming wholly vegan was her easiest life decision – it came with neither sacrifices nor difficulties. She is guided by her belief that life has no real meaning and purpose when you don’t live by your true values.

How Being a Vegan Changed Her

When Angela and her sister became vegans, her mom went along with her passion to eat healthily. She would research how to keep the family healthy, leading her to publish a book on preventative medicine through a proper diet. Her mom also gave talks all over the United States.

Being a vegan can have a lot of positive effects on one’s life. For Angela, it allowed her to take back control of her life.

Now, she’s enjoying a low-fat, plant-based diet that is rich in whole grains and veggies. And some of her favorite dishes are spinach and tofu ricotta lasagna, mushroom spinach quiche with whole grain crust, and any type of vegan tacos, together with a creative flavorful sauce.

Her passion for plant-based food and her dedication to changing the landscape of health in San Diego led her to open a mouth-watering food delivery service – Plant Based Meals. Our mission is to create and deliver delicious ready-made plant-based meals to promote optimal health, longevity, and global sustainability.
